How long do missions remaln open?

Missions are never deleted, but in the Mission screen
you will only see the 200 most recent missions

Can I switch missions on the fly?

Yes, you can open the Missions list from the Settings screen and choose another mission or start a new one.

I am a volunteer helping my local sheriff department. Can I join their missions if I have my own First Response license?

Yes, you can! You need to ask them for the 5-letter mission code, tap on Join External in the Missions screen and type the mission code to join their mission.

Is there a limit to the number of markers I can create?

There is no limit on the number of markers. If you are creating a large number of markers, we recommend turning off the Always Visible setting for some of them, and manage the markers via the markers list, which is accessible from the Settings screen.

Do I need Internet connection to use First Response?

You can use First Response with and without Internet connection. If you anticipate flying offline, it is recommended that you download the map for the area you plan to fly in in advance. While offline you will not be able to join missions and share information with other people in a mission.

How many pilots in my organization can use First Response?

You can enable as many devices as required to be used by your organization

How can I see the name of a marker on the map?

Short tap on the marker will show its name. The name will disappear when you tap on another marker or pan/zoom the map.

Who can I share location and screenshots with?

You can send a text message (SMS) with the coordinates of a location, or a multimedia message (MMS) with a screenshot to any phone number on any network. It also works with international numbers but you’d need to enter the number in an international format –  [+][country code][subscriber number including area code].

How does the compass display work?

The north (red) side of the compass needle indicates the direction of north relative to the heading of your drone. For instance if your drone faces west, the red side of the needle point to 3 o’clock.
