About The Position

Founded in 2016, Edgybees provides accurate geo-registration and augmented reality of aerial video in real-time, enabling defense, public safety, and critical infrastructure command centers to accomplish life-saving missions. To date, the referencing and positioning of streamed video from aerial sources has been inaccurate, often with dangerous consequences. Edgybees’ Visual Intelligence Platform, a software-only solution based on Computer Vision and Machine Learning technologies, delivers highly accurate geo-mapping and tagging of aerial video in real time. This unique approach allows for rapid decision-making by visually augmenting roads, key landmarks and other mission-critical data on top of live video feeds – via its own platform or by integrating with third-party systems. Edgybees’ operational perspective dramatically reduces time-to-target and enhances team collaboration, situational awareness and mission effectiveness.

The Edgybees platform was initially used in 2017 to aid first responders during Hurricane Irma. It was subsequently used in 2018 during Hurricane Florence and, in 2019, to facilitate rescue during the California wildfires. The successful application of Edgybees technology in these mission-critical situations led the defense industry to the company.

We are searching for a Director of Professional Services with experience as a post-sales engineer to establish and manage the professional services team in the US!

You will be the subject matter expert of our product outside of R&D, and have responsibility for all post-sales customer activity, as well as recruiting our Post-Sales Engineers, and training both our Pre- and Post-sales teams. Responsibilities include installation, configuration, integration, training, and troubleshooting of our product and its associated ecosystem of technologies. In addition, the role requires close collaboration with the Product and R&D teams in order to ensure that all deployments delight our customers. Initially the Director of PS will also be responsible for supporting the company’s sales efforts through providing demos and performing proof of concepts. 


  • Active DoD secret clearance or the ability to rapidly achieve one
  • At least 5 years of prior work experience as a leader/manager/director of a professional service/customer success team
  • At least 5 years prior experience as a Tier 3/4 Support Engineer
  • Deep and broad enterprise software-related technical expertise
  • Extensive knowledge of hardware architectures, networking, TCP/IP, client/server environments, etc.
  • Extensive experience with Windows and Linux OS environments
  • Extensive experience with managing complex on-site deployments including both hardware and software installations
  • Excellent technical troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with cloud architecture
  • Extensive experience with Kubernetes, Open-Shift or equivalent – An advantage
  • Experience with real time aerial video, drone, and ISR - An advantage
  • Hands-on experience with GIS databases and services, e.g. ArcGIS, ArcMap, OSM – An advantage.
  • Experience in managing customer deployment and integration projects
  • Certification in Microsoft, Linux, Cisco or similar technologies is an advantage
  • Travel up to 30% of the time
